January 20, 2021 Fall Portrait Session
As a family photographer, I am overjoyed to have the opportunity of serving families in Greenville, SC for several months throughout the year.

This Greenville, SC portrait session was the most PRECIOUS thing I've seen!!! Captain Joe and Brenda are dear friends of my family. In a way, they are almost like grandparent figures to me. I have admired them as spiritual leaders in my life, and they daily display the true meaning of hospitality. I'm a sucker for a good love story, and their's is one of the most unique that I know. While I would love to go into depth and share with you their love story, I believe it is best told by them, which you can further read about on Brenda's blog here. But what I will say is that throughout their entire story it goes much deeper than just love. You can clearly see a trail of God's footprints all of over their lives, and it truly is the most beautiful thing.
Captain Joe and Brenda believed in me since the start of my business in 2016. In 2018, they allowed me the opportunity to capture their new headshots for their blog and devotional books that they were releasing later that year. Fast forward to 2020, and they adopted a new puppy named Kati in the fall. For their updated family photos with the newest member, they wanted to incorporate a special part of who they are as a couple. Airplanes and covered bridges. Captain Joe is a former pilot, and thrives on all things aerodynamic! He also proposed to his beautiful bride at a covered bridge and we did their 2018 headshots at a covered bridge, so I surprised them by discovering the one and only covered bridge in South Carolina for their second location. It was perfect!!
